Update Jun 2026/Jul 2026

It’s been several blessedly quiet weeks since the gig marathon at the beginning of June, and we awaken from our slumber to prepare for this month’s round of shows. We started off out in good old Grand Rapids at Mulligan’s Pub, with our pals Reckless Rhythms and the Bores, the former being gracious and hospitable enough to get us some nice hotel rooms (for which we were endlessly grateful). It was funny seeing stickers of my old Irish band on the walls of this punk bar; last we played there was 2015!

My old Irish punk band, Stone Clover, the sticker for which seen on many a wall at Mulligan’s. Go check ‘em out, by the way!

Next, of course, was the Throwin’ Bricks single release show. By far, the most crazy packed show we’ve played yet—and there was NO A/C in the venue.

Selfie from onstage. This does not even encapsulate the entire crowd.

What a raucous show it was. We had the honor of playing alongside Toed and Slept Through the Blood Moon (who also released a single that night—twinsies!!!), and we are proud to announce that through single sales, merch sales, and our cut of the door, we were able to raise a whopping $330 for the Transgender Law Center. Cheers to everybody who came out to support. It means more to us than we can convey.

Lastly, we rounded out the weekend on Sunday the 7th with a victory lap at the Hazel Perk open air fair. Luckily it was a nice, relaxed show in he middle of the afternoon a mere four blocks or so from my house, and we celebrated our hard work afterwards with pizza and beer with friends on our back porch.

Coming up this month we return to Grand Rapids to play at Pux Taphouse on the 11th, Tenacity Brewing in Flint on the 25th, and Ziggy’s in Ypsilanti on the 31st—and we’ll have new music ready for you, too! See you there!

We are so tired, friends.
