We are happy to start to unwind after how hectic October was. As you may know, once the months get colder, we hole up to focus our limited energy on writing, creating more merch, recording, etc. We were welcomed back for a second year in a row to Ypsilanti’s Freak Fest on the 3rd at the Dreamland Theater with the Galloping Hour, Blind Liars, Marto.Matic, and Mothy. What a community we’ve found in Ypsi. Small city, tightly-knit music scene. Always a joy to play.
We’d never played at Bemo’s in Bay City before, but when we took the stage with Carmel Liburdi and Swamp Rats on October 9th, we all put on such a barn-burner that the owner, LuAnn, made us promise that we’d play there again. So, all I’ll say is, Bay City, watch out for us next year.

Then we played at the Dumpster in Port Huron on Friday the 23rd. Nice little place. Very DIY, a free store during the day, puts on shows at night. The bill was full of fun surprises—us, of course, and our friend the Lonesome Skeleton as the Lonesome Skeleton Band—and then there was drag/burlesque performer Sweet Handsome Two-Heart, as well as Klowniac the creepy clown AND Port Huron’s own Trash the Clown bringing up the rear in the clown car.
