Update Sep 2026/Oct 2026

Not to ruin the surprise, but we were planning on recording an E.P. over the winter. We had a decent chunk of funds raised. But then I kept wanting to add songs to it, and it became a whole album, which is far more expensive than a roughly five song E.P. Combine that with the fact that we are quite overdue for a merch re-up, and you have some broke musicians. Perhaps the recording will take a little while longer.

Anyway, I turned 34 on September 11th, and an amazing party was thrown with so many of our favorite people; and if you reading this also showed up, I’d like to extend a personal thank you to you, as well. It was our last show at Brewery Faisan before they closed their doors for good in October; they always treated us so well and we’re sad to close this chapter even as we open an exciting new one.

As a birthday gift, I got a tribute to my old folk punk band, Fishgutzzz, tattooed on my arm. I’ve got one for my Irish rock band Stone Clover, as well. The idea’s to get tattoos for the bands I was in that left the greatest mark on me; I’d like to get one for Izak, but it feels a little weird to get your own name tattooed on yourself, you know?

On September 25th, we had the pleasure of sharing the stage once again with Ypsi local Mallory Wayt, and a brand new (to us) band called Frog Island Power Boat at Ziggy’s. We always have a fantastic time there and this night was no exception; it was a well-crafted bill if ever there was one.

On the itinerary for October is Ypsi’s Freakfest on the 3rd (we’ll be at Dreamland Theater); Bay City’s Bemo’s on the 9th, and Port Huron’s The Dumpster on the 23rd. We hope to see you at one or more of these!
